The trip scheduled to Pelmo was very beautiful even without having reached the summit. We left at 8:30

At 13.00 we are at 2700mt e a conti fatti ci manca sicuro un ora e mezza per la cima e tra una cosa e l’altra verrebbe proprio tardi. Così io mi fermo e Marco procede un altro po’ ma anche lui desisterà a raggiungere la cima perché la neve è sempre più profonda e, oltre ad aumentare la fatica, copre anche i numerosi e insidiosi buchi.
Il rientro, soprattutto dal rif Venezia al p.sso Staulanza, ci sembrerà infinito.

Sebbene non abbiamo raggiunto la cima abbiamo fatto quasi 8h di cammino e quando si calcolano a tavolino i tempi di una gita del genere oltre al dislivello di 1500mt consiglio di tenere in considerazione lo sviluppo ( in 1h40’ dal p.so Staulanza al rif Venezia ci alza di neanche 200mt e per i passaggi delicati della ledge Ball will take more than an hour to get up to 50 meters)
