I apologize for the absence ... I finally finished uni exams and now I have to finish writing the thesis, but I will try to publish this post ... public today with the recipe which I participate in the contest soup buttons!
This pie is simple to prepare, but despite being a jam tart for me is not "the usual jam tart," in fact for me she has a great sentimental value because it is thanks to this pie that is I started my passion for cooking and pastries in precise. I remember when, as a child, my mother made me give a quick impastatina his pastry and I was happy; I remember when he made the tart was a magical moment for me and I ran straight into the kitchen, I sat on the stool and waited to tell me "Chia ?!"... you want to mix it then that she had finished kneading, but I I felt so proud of myself to put out their hands and turning the pastry for half a minute! Then my mother stretched the dough into the pan, put the jam and then we did the roll of pastry to decorate it ... because I had fun! Then when I grew up a little I started to rub and knead the pastry really the work of pastry to my mother, who among other things is also very good and everything I know I owe to her, so softly through my pastry I began to understand what was my greatest passion in 14 years ... I remember that I made this tart for a charity event, the cakes were sold and the proceeds from the donations was sent to can not remember which charity, and was sold for my 70euro ... do not tell you my surprise, two people arguing whether to buy it, and think that I even wanted to take it because I said that I had come evil decoration! Instead, thanks to that I started to sew as pie pastry because those who bought it had a very good restaurant and finding it asked me to prepare to sell the pies for dessert!
The ring, however, was my grandmother, even my great-grandmother, that he gave to my grandmother, that has given me ... I really miss my grandmother, I miss not getting to know her well more than anything else, because when I had just passed away four years. I remember a few scenes of moments spent with her, I remember when we played with the buttons, she was hiding a button in one hand and I had to guess where he was, I remember very well that its french fries to me are still the most delicious I have ever ate, and I remember his hands and the promise that the ring that I liked so much a day would be mine ... that day came too soon, but I kept my jewelry with all the care and love possible, trying every now and then because I was looking forward to be able to wear every day to bring my grandmother with me.
