Prometto che per un po' non parlerò più di cavolfiori, ma mi era rimasto questo mezzo piccoletto in frigo... dovevo pur prepararlo in qualche modo no ?

Così, leggendo su... va beh lo confesso, su Cucina Naturale, una ricetta dove si usava la vaniglia per un piatto salato, mi è scattata la molla. Il cavolfiore è già un po' dolce, ma se ci aggiungo anche delle carote (o della zucca, ma non avevo quella dolce dolce) e la vaniglia... viene proprio una cremina  ;)

Se poi, dolce per dolce, ci aggiungo anche il gusto della mandorla....

Ed il risultato ha superato le aspettative, anche se con la consistenza densa, il dolce vegetables, vanilla and almond .... my wife ran off to say "It could be proposed as sweet."

  • 1/3 di cipolla bianca

Preparazione

Affettate   finemente la cipolla e mettetela ad ammorbidire dolcemente, qualche minuto, con poco olio in una casseruola.
Intanto affettate le carote, dopo averle spellate o grattate, e le cime del cavolfiore mondato. Aggiungetele alla cipolla e fate andare un paio di minuti mescolando.
Bagnate con acqua senza coprire le verdure, quindi incoperchiate e procedete cook on low heat for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Una cima che non avevo mai sentito ma che si è rivelata, sia per ambiente che per neve trovata, semplicemente superlativa.
Partiamo io, Macs e Antonello dal tornante per malga Ra Stua imboccando la strada innevata che porta alla suddetta malga, per poi deviare verso Cason de Antrulles.
Qui l'itinerario inizia finalmente a farsi più ripido e a quota 1800-1900 deviamo decisamente verso sx su un pendio esposto NW, free tracks, which makes us imagine the wonderful descent awaits us.

Ho preparato questa insalatina, la prima volta, dopo aver letto che il cavolfiore si può mangiare crudo oltre che cotto.
La cosa mi ha incuriosito, e visto che ormai ho superato la diffidenza verso questa verdura, conquistato poi dalle its beneficial properties, I decided to try.

  • 1 arancia biologica
  • 1/2 cavolfiore piccolo
  • 1 mela verde biologica
  • 1 cucchiaino di zafferano zenzero (errata corridge)
  • olio evo
  • sale e pepe
Preparazione

Lavare e tagliare l'arancia a metà: una metà spremerla e metterne 3/4 del succo in una terrina con dell'acqua fredda. Con il 1/4 rimasto preparare una vinagrette in una ciotola, con 2 cucchiai d'olio evo, lo zenzero, sale e pepe, mescolando con cura.
Tagliare il cavolfiore mondato e diviso in cime, a fettine sottili ed immergerle nell'acqua acidulata con l'arancia.
Lavare bene la mela, togliere il torsolo ed affettarla in modo che ogni pezzetto abbia la sua parte di buccia; man mano che si ricavano i tocchetti metterli a bagno con il cavolfiore.
Dell'altra metà dell'arancia togliere la buccia (solo la parte arancione), quindi pelarla al vivo e ricavare dalle fettine pelate dei pezzettini.
Scolare cavolfiore e mela dal bagno ed aggiungere l'arancia, mescolare e condire con la vinagrette all'arancia e zenzero.

Si accompagna molto bene, per il suo gusto fresco e leggero a del pesce, magari cotto a vapore o nel sale.

Dopo un tratto in contropendenza giriamo a sx verso Ovest (verso cima Uomo) e fatta la prima balza inizia pure a fioccare e si rende necessario un cambio guanti …. E perché no, un goccio di the (e così inauguro il thermos nuovo…azz!)

La neve continua ad essere dura crostosa con dei tratti di piacevole spolvero.
Dopo un breve traverso verso destra ci si immette poi nel vallone verso nord.

  • 2 medium potatoes 2 slices of pumpkin
  • 1 / 2 onion

La neve non accenna a 'mollare' e arrivati ad un centinaio di metri dalla forcella decidiamo di interrompere la salita.

Ingredients for 4 people: 400gr
. short pasta
100gr.
bacon cut into strips 250ml cream curried

salt to taste pepper


Preparation:

Ma ora passo alla ricetta:

Ingredienti:
350gr. farina
100gr. zucchero
3 tuorli

80gr. burro
vanillina

marmellata di pesche

Preparazione:
Mettete la farina in una ciotola, con lo zucchero, il burro ammorbidito tagliato a pezzetti, i tuorli e la vanillina. Impastate energicamente fino ad ottenere un panetto compatto. Quindi stendete i 3/4 della pasta direttamente nella tortiera, quindi aggiungete
la marmellata e decorate con delle striscioline ricavate dalla frolla rimasta. Infornate a 180°C per 30 minuti.

Ciao a tutte/i... vi ringrazio per le ricette che mi avete mandato per la mia raccolta "Passione al cioccolato"...ne aspetto ancora di nuove!!!
Oggi vi lascio la ricetta di una torta buonissima, tipica del Sud Tirol... infatti la facevo proprio quando lavoravo a Selva di ValGardena sulle Dolomiti.
